Andy Smith

Andy Smith is an educator and trainer who has worked in training and development for over 40 years.  
His background is 29 years military veteran pilot and commander, over 20 years as an international airline captain, volunteer law enforcement, and college professor.
Andy believes training should be immersive and be scenario based developing applicability to everyday life.  
As an avid life-long learner, Andy enjoys a wide range of training opportunities to continue to develop his skills. 
Andy is qualified as a Training Counselor or Instructor in numerous disciplines: Red Cross, ASHI, NRA, USCCA, POST/CLEFIA, CMP, SABRE, AVERT, ALERRT/CRASE.  
Education and training is vital to understanding and safety. Being prepared and confident to deploy skills learned are essential to being effective and decisive in your actions.

“Rios” is a proud Colorado Native who is passionate about educating others on how to safely, legally, and responsibly exercising their Second Amendment rights. Rios is certified as an NRA Pistol Instructor, NRA Rifle Instructor, and ASHI First Aid, CPR, AED Instructor (Level 3). Rios also holds a BA in Linguistics from Stanford University. Rios instructs ART classes in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
